All of our Certified Nurse Assistants, Personal Care Aides, and companions work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse(RN)
Requirements For Employment with NCSC Home Care Services 

• All employees and consultants are required to pass a drug test (S.C. Code Section 44-70-60(B) and criminal background check (S.C. Code Section 44-70-60(B) and 44-7-2910.
• Able to read, write and communicate effectively with participant and supervisor;
• Capable of following a care service plan with minimal supervision
• At least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license, an acceptable three-year motor vehicle record and a certificate of auto insurance.

Licensure, Registry or Certification Required:
Must pass the agency written test and skills competency test​ and must be able to attain CPR and First Aid certifications

Available Positions

Personal Care Aides
Responsible for providing personal care to clients in the home setting or in a facility as identified in the clients plan of care. Services to be provided include but not limited to:

• Assist clients with Daily Living Activities.
• Home support, e.g.,
• Monitoring of the participant’s condition
• Monitoring medication
• Escort services when necessary
Strength and balance training
Companion Care Aides
Responsible for providing companion care services to clients in their home setting or in a facility as identified in the clients plan of care. Services to be provided include but not limited to:
• Socialization - Reading, conversation, assistance with mail
• Interaction with participant's as appropriate
• Assistance with or supervision of meal/snack preparation
• Assistance with or supervision of participant laundry
• Assistance with or supervision of participant’s shopping
• Incidental light housekeeping
• Sitting service focusing on the participant including supervision,orientation, making appropriate contact in case of emergency
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Certified Nursing Assistant provides a high quality care to clients by:
• Explaining medical instructions and policies
• Providing Personal Hygiene Services
• Checking Vital Signs
• Providing comfort
• Giving Adjunct Care
The primary functions of a Home Health Aide are to provide activities related to supporting clients in their home
Provides those services developed by the RN as outlined on the Plan of Care including but not limited to:
• Record and report changes in the client’s condition, family situation or needs to the appropriate health care professional
• Utilizing principles of basic nutrition, budgeting and buying, and considering preferences of the clients
• Assist with prompts of self administered medications
• Completes required reports and records on time and accurately
• Organizes tasks in a safe and efficient manner with indirect supervision
• Completes required documentation
• To participate in training sessions as required by the Agency
Must provide courteous service to clients, general public, vendors, providers, staff and corporate personnel Must comply with company work rules Establishes a relationship with client and family which convey trust and confidentiality Works cooperatively with personnel of other community agencies involved in the client's care as directed by the RN Supervisor and Agency Administrator Show respect and dignity for the client being served Follows agency policies and procedures Should not be performing tasks or treatments outside of the scope of practice deemed safe and permissible by this program and or the Plan of Care
Physical Demands: Good mental and physical health; Must be able to function smoothly and efficiently under stress
Working Conditions: Working indoors, and outdoors in community and to and from the client’s place of residence Responsible for maintaining open lines of communications between office staff, clients, and families
